How to get started

Logging in to Hire A Vike is easy! Every CSU student and alumni already has an account.

To log in, visit https://app.joinhandshake.com/login and select Cleveland State University; then log in using your CSUIDnumber@vikes.csuohio.edu and password.

Did you know there is also a Hire A Vike app? If you're interested in researching employers, applying to jobs and messaging classmates on-the-go, using the app is a great fit!

It's called Handshake and can be found on the App Store or Google Play.

Hint: We recommend setting up push notifications so you can receive personalized job recommendations!

How to update your profile

The best way to stand out to employers is to complete your profile—be sure to include your experiences and skills, and share your career interests!

Here's what happens when you specify preferred job types, locations and job roles.

How to search for jobs and internships

Keyword search and filters are a great way to narrow down and customize the jobs you see on Hire A Vike.

You can filter through jobs by criteria such as job type, location, work authorization, and industry.

Keyword search helps you find jobs whose description includes a word that you’re looking for.
