Cleveland State University Career Development & Exploration offers alumni lifelong access to services to assist in career transition.

 

Whether you are looking for your first job, changing jobs or pointing your career in a new direction, CDE will:

  • Give one-on-one career advising

  • Assist with resume and cover letter writing

  • Provide guidance and coaching on job search strategies, networking and interview techniques

  • Provide access to job opportunities through Handshake, our online job board

  • Provide free access to Kaplan Test Prep and Micro-Credential Training through our All-Access partnership 

  • Connect you with top area employers through a number of valuable events and programs

  • Take a professional headshot for your LinkedIn profile

ALUMNI HOURS

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 8 am to 5 pm

The first appointment is a 15-minute Zoom call and requires a resume and reason for appointment to be submitted ahead of time.

THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IS OUR PARTNER!

The Alumni Association advances Cleveland State students, graduates, the University and the region through programming, volunteerism, networking, outreach and advocacy. The Association is led by dedicated volunteers who serve on the Alumni Board and professionals who staff the Alumni Affairs Office.

It’s easy to become engaged as an alumnus. Attend an event. Volunteer to serve. Refer a potential student. Read and pass along CSUAA communications. Wear CSU gear. Speak proudly and loudly about your alma mater. Attend a chapter event—or start a chapter. Make a gift to an area of the University you’re passionate about. There are unlimited ways to engage with CSU throughout your lifetime.
