2024 Ohio State Law Fair

This event, the largest law fair in Ohio, is open to all students and alumni from any college or university around the country.  Over 100 law schools, test preparation companies, and other legal education organizations from around the country participate each year.  This event is free to attend.  Pre-registration is not required however Ohio State students are encouraged to pre-register via Handshake in order to stay up to date.  Free registration for all attendees is available the day of the Law Fair.

The Ohio State Law Fair affords students, alumni, and law school representatives the opportunity to talk about what each law school can offer applicants in terms of an education and experience.  All students, including new first-year students and any students or alumni who are unsure about whether they want to apply to law school, are welcome to attend to learn more about the benefits of a legal education as well as what law schools look for in their applicants.

This year the Ohio State Law Fair will take place Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in The Ohio Union Archie M. Griffin Grand Ballroom (second floor).  Additional workshops will be presented before and after the fair including:

• Law School Panel featuring admission deans from law schools around the country, Monday October 21 at 6:00pm (Drinko Hall, Saxbe Auditorium)
• "How to Pay for Law School" presented by AccessLex, Tuesday October 22 at 10:00am (Ohio Union Senate Chamber)
• "Navigating LSAC Resources" presented by the Law School Admission Council, Tuesday October 22 at 2:00pm (Ohio Union Senate Chamber)
• Mock Admissions Review Session featuring a panel of admission deans and directors from national law schools, Tuesday October 22 at 3:30pm (Ohio Union Senate Chamber)
