If you are a current student, please ensure that you are in a pre-professional program via your major (Health Sciences: PA/OT/PT Tracks, Communication Sciences & Disorders, or one of our five tags: Pre-Dentistry, Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, or Veterinary). That way you are getting the most up to date information via email, such as advising changes and the newsletter that comes out weekly through the fall and spring terms

 

Coordinators in Career Development that work with Pre-Professional Health students partner with professional Academic Advisors and faculty to best support students in planning for coursework, extracurricular planning, strategies for preparing a competitive application, test preparation, application assistance, interview preparation, support, and more.

MAKING THE MOST OF YOUR PRE-PROFESSIONAL COACHING APPOINTMENT

• Make an appointment with us by calling 216-687-2233 or by going to Starfish and clicking on Career Development & Exploration under “My Success Network.” You can also email careers@csuohio.edu with questions!

• Career Development & Exploration uses the Handshake App for all appointments, job and internships searches, and communicating with students. All CSU students have a Handshake Account! You just need to sign in, start your profile, and then schedule appointments. 

• Click Schedule a Coaching Appointment and Log in to Handshake by clicking on the blue button “Cleveland State University Sign-On” and use your CampusNet ID and password, select “Schedule a New Appointment”, follow prompts, and click Request.
